Until I have enough posts to break this up, I'd better put my absence notices and family news all together here, and people can comment on it anytime.

Judy and Dan will be away from home from
Sunday afternoon, February 22, through late Thursday, February 26, 2009, staying
at Potawatomi
Inn, in Pokagon
State Park, near the northeastern corner of Indiana. We hope to spend some
time at the park's Nature Center, looking out through a window at the birds
among the bird feeders and microphones. We have, years ago, seen deer up close
in a winter walk in the park. As for the Toboggan Run, we make no
promises. Only a two-for-one rate at the Inn makes such trips reasonable for us
-- or in our case, four nights for the regular price of two.
We're supposed to have free wireless
Internet, but if that doesn't work or we find other things to do (I hope so!),
we might not be as responsive to it as at home.
