According to the warning, if I have a current anti-virus (I do.) I should be OK, but a free scan seemed worth taking.

its better to be safe than sorry, is the way i see these things. info is good, when its correct and this time i clicked on the good.

I'm still running that Windows Live Scan, which is so slow I don't know whether it's worth doing if you already have a security program in place.

Meanwhile, I've been reading up on it, and it looks like a major monster. It is supposed to do something to gather up computers under its spell ... but here my understanding fades out. Anyway it's worth being protected from.

It seems Judy's Mackintosh is not at risk.

I think it mainly goes to people who have file share set up. I have used a lot of different viral programs and now use a free one called
Spyware Terminator, it found a lot of bad stuff on my Puter and it does work much better. I can't see paying for one when there are so many to choose from, trail and error lead me to the one I use now.
