Secret of the Mountain Empty Secret of the Mountain

Secret of the Mountain.

Ring around the rosey
pocket full of lies
4 and twenty blackbirds
falling down to die

On top of Old Smokey
spurts brimstone and fire
Jack was nimble, not so quick
felled to death by burning brick

Rocky roads twist and turned
melted away in lava lakes
Sleeping Giants, those mountains
Spew fountains hot and thick

Ashes, ashes they all fall down
home again, home again, never
The flames burning, burning the town
slow, swirling, searing all gone forever.
